Austin Pothen, DPT

Director of Physical Therapy

Austin Pothen is a board-certified physical therapist, receiving both his Bachelor's of Science in Health Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, where he graduated with honors. Austin has over 5 years of extensive experience in treating patients of various pathologies, ranging from post-op orthopedics to acute and chronic pain from injury, treating in the outpatient, acute, subacute settings. Austin has had the privilege of providing rehabilitative services for children, adults, and the geriatric population with various pathologies.

He has also served as a director of physical therapy for over 3 years in the multi-disciplinary setting, collaborating with orthopedic surgeons, pain management physicians, chiropractic, and acupuncture, providing patients a comprehensive, minimally invasive rehabilitation approach. He is extremely passionate when it comes to achieving patient's goals, utilizing a variety of individualized manual therapy techniques in order help get his patients back to doing the things that they love with maximal function and pain free through his patient centric approach!

When he is not treating, Austin enjoys spending time with family and friends and being an avid fan of Maryland sports teams, born and raised in Baltimore, MD.
